Do you know that in the Gujarat state 30% of Girls drop out the school before reaching the class 9th and 57 % girls dropped the School before reaching the intermediate. Gujarat State Govt. has launched the "Vahali Dikari Yojana" on the basis of other state Girls incentive scheme such as Rajasthan (Raj Shree Yojana), Haryana (Ladli Scheme), Karnataka (Bhagyashree Scheme), Maharashtra {Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Scheme}, West Bengal (Kanya Prakalpa Scheme) and Madhya Pradesh(Ladli Laxmi Yojana).

Vahali Dikari Yojana goverment scheme for girl child

• 1st instalment For admission in a First Class - Rs.4000
• 2nd instalment For admission in a Class of 10th - Rs.6000
• 3rd instalment is At the age of girl 18 years - Rs.1 lakh

A girl child among first two children of family will get benefit of this gov. scheme. Amount get to girl child on her entry to first standard in school will get Rs. 4,000 at a time, in 9th standard she will get Rs. 6,000 and when she completes 18th year age she will get Rs. 1 lakh,’ Nitinbhai Patel said that.

He said that this gov. scheme will improve sex ratio, it will encourage to girl child's education and avail a big amount for higher education and wedding also.

Gujarat Vahali Dikari Yojana Eligibility

Gujarat Vahali Dikari Yojana is going to improve the birth rate of girls and will strength the socio-economic status of the girls in society. All the applicants must ful fill the following steps to become eligible for Vahali Dikari Yojana:-

1. Applicant have must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
2. The girls have must belong to a poor family with annual income of less than 2 Lakhs.
3. Girl have must Born after 2-8-2019.
4. Vahali Dikari Yojna Benefits Till 2 Girl.
5. Age Of mother must be more than 18 year at time of Birth of Girl
6. This gov. scheme according to Nitin bhai Patel will be availed to families with upto Rs. 2 lakh income per year.

The Gujarat State govt. has made allocation of Rs. 133 crore for this gov. scheme in financial year 2019-20 budget so you can benefit of this scheme.
